Dear peeps,

I had Islam class again and we had a brief sum-up discussion of what we both agree at this time is a side topic, the Mahdi. It is a topic that from various points of view fires the imagination. I dare you to look it up and read both Sunni and Shi'a points of view about him. Keep an open mind, for whatever standpoint is taken people have believed much stranger things than any reasonably rational Muslim's ideas about the Mahdi, or even some of the wilder claims.

Oh, and as to pronunciation, all letters are pronounced and the "a" is as in "cat" and the "i" like the vowel sound in "bee". Consonants are as usual in English.
